Learning at the Museum
Through a process of restoration, refurbishment and new-build extension, the Museum’s first ever dedicated learning space will be created in the historically important rectory building towards the rear of the site. The purpose-designed space will be secure, quiet and flexible. With its own cloakroom facilities, storage and separate access, it will provide designated learning space for school visits during the day in term time, family activities after school, at weekends and during school holidays as well as events in the evenings. It will also be available for private functions and corporate hire. A small courtyard will encourage learning outdoors and provide for messy activities.
